SOMEOTHASHIP CONNECTION TOUR
-Bahamadia- The reigning Queen of Hip Hop rose to royalty through popular underground and burgeoning commercial success since 1993. Through ground-breaking collaborations with Erykah Badu, The Roots, Talib Kweli, Boogiemonsters, The Herbaliser, Jedi Mind Tircks, Morcheeba, Mr. Lif, Guru, Sweetback (Sade & Maxwell's band), drum n' base auteur Roni Size, and more, the only thing between Bahamadia and that special glorified status is the present moment.
-Dudley Perkins- As a vocal muse for Madlib’s creations, Dudley is unmatched; he’s earned first pick at Madlib’s prized beat collections. Just like Madvillain or Quasimoto, the Dudley/Madlib combination is a facet unto its own – on par with the most illustrious collaboration projects in Madlib’s catalog.
-Georgia Anne Muldrow- Georgia is the first female artist signed to Stones Throw Records and is the wife of fellow label artist Dudley Perkins. She springs from a family of creative musicians, whose roots run deep in the '60s and '70s progressive jazz scene: her father invented instruments for Eddie Harris, and her mother performed with Pharoah Sanders. Their innovation passed to their daughter, who approaches her labyrinth of keyboards, synthesizers and various instruments with a fresh perspective every time.
-Kankick- An esteemed hip-hop producer who was an integral part of Lootpack. He grew up in the city of Oxnard, along with several fellow hip-hop musicians including Madlib, Oh No, DJ Romes and Dudley Perkins. Kankick was one of Madlib's first beatmaking partners and heavily contributed to The Lootpack debut as well as The Alkoholiks. Later he went on to produce a number of solo instrumental albums, as well as collaborate with several rappers and producers such as Planet Asia, Declaime and DJ Babu.
